If you’re looking for a true Colorado challenge to test yourself against the climbs and altitude of Colorado look no further. The 719 Ride, in its 7th year of operation, has something for everyone. You can ride all or part of the route, fat, skinny, mtb, ebike or even a penny farthing. It’s also a great event for spectators like our own “Giro d’Italia” or “Tour de France.” The route is 5 laps, each lap covering about 14 miles of neighborhood roads.
The full 719 Ride or “l Cinque Giri” is 71.9 miles and one of the toughest single-day climbing challenges in the state. The 719 comes from our area code and takes place on July 16, 2022. There is a choice of distances from a 14-mile challenge to the full 71.9 and even further. The course has one timed section with monetary prizes. There are three tiers of registration from an economy option to a community minded option to donate to local charities. For lowest pricing register by June 1st at 719Ride.com.
