In this episode you'll hear stories that share themes of coincidences, lost connections, and for Valentine's Day, surprising romances.
You'll hear three short stories about coincidences involving magicians and restaurants, a lost connection during a virtual show, a mysterious romantic encounter after a show, and how one magician met a woman he didn't realize would become his wife when they met again in the future.
The first storyteller is me, your host! I'm Kris Sheppard, a close up magician soon to be based out of Orlando, FL. I specialize in connecting with my audiences on a personal level which in turn helps my clients form better connections with their customers. Here's my story about a funny coincidence surrounding another local magician, that I had never met but only heard of.
The second story comes from Graeme "Graemazing" Reed. a "Level 7 Wizard" who lately has been doing a ton of virtual shows. He's also co host to the Magicians Talking Magic podcast. Here he is telling about a coincidence centered around the restaurant he performers at, his neighbors, and walking his dog around his home.
The next story comes from Ryan Kane, a corporate magician, comedian, and author based in the San Francisco Bay area. Ryan talks about the time him and a fellow magician both arrived at the same restaurant at the same time to perform magic.
Ran'D Shine tells the next story. Ran'D is the face of the new millennium magician who's magic has taken him around the world from Cape Town South Africa performing his one-man show, "Mysterious Ways," to Presidential Inauguration banquets at the White House. The penultimate story is told by Joe Diamond, a mystery performer based around Chicago, IL. Whether he's reading minds, interpreting dreams, or driving blindfolded for publicity, he's always up to something strange. In his story, he talks about a mysterious romantic encounter he had after a show.
The final story comes from Mario the Maker Magician! His zaney family magic and hand built robotics have have garnered him an appearance on Sesame Street and a residency with Maker Magazine doing a fun digital live show for families. In his story, he talks about meeting a woman he didn't realize would become his wife when they met again in the future.
