About Ron
As a 20 years veteran with the Connecticut Department of Correction 17 years as a Corrections officers 3years as a correctional counselor, I got into this line of work to protect and serve the community and to see if I can make a difference with the inmate populations through programing. Now retied from an amazing carrier in law enforcement I have followed my passion as an experienced Fitness Trainer with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry. Skilled in Weight Training, Injury Prevention, KT taping/rock taping, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Nutrition, Athletic Conditioning and LMT specializing in sports massage. Strong healthcare services professional with a Certificate focused in Sports and Fitness from International Sports and Science Association (ISSA). I love helping people be at there best and getting them moving and finding a solution to their problem.
I also have over 30yrs of martial arts experience: First degree black belt in Okinawan Goju-Ryu Second degree black belt in Okinawan Uechi-Ryu and Brown belt in judo. Martial art has always been a passion of mine since I was 8yrs old. Martial arts has taught me focus, mindfulness and discipline. The training that I have done over the years has helped mold me into the man I am today.
