Hey guys, it’s your girl Britt.  Today we are taking a deeper look at some of the studies cluttering your newsfeed. Recently, I saw an article claiming that eating red meat can make body odor worse.  So, I decided to do some digging. The article referenced a 2006 study…that studied…wait for it..17 male students at Charles University with an average age of 22. Arguably, one of the most odorous times of man’s life. Don’t quote me on that—I have no hard evidence besides personal experience to back that up. Anyways the study found that the odors given off by males who didn’t consume meat were found to be more ‘pleasant’ than those that did, according to a group of…..32 female students with an average age of 23. Obviously, this study has no flaws. Eh, I’m just messing with you, this study doesn’t have as nearly as many participants needed to conclude such a claim. So when it comes to body odor and meat eating, more research will need to be completed and as always this study will be linked to the show notes.
