REACH Season One Celebrating Women's History Month with Dr. Suggs

Dr. Cassandra Suggs is a Columbus, Ohio native, and has practiced as a Family Medicine Physician since 1994. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University; She completed her Family Practice Residency at Grant Medical Center after graduating from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She has been practicing at Metropolitan Family Care, Incorporated since 1997.

Dr. Suggs has a passion for developing partnerships with her patients that encourage preventative health care, patient education, and mental health. Her commitment to these areas has led her to active involvement in the field of addiction medicine.  She was certified to participate in the Medication-Assisted Treatment Program for substance abuse in 2018. Since then, she has served those seeking healing for opiate abuse through Arizona Counseling and Consultation. 

Dr. Suggs has been married to her husband, Curtis, since 1994.  They have three children, Elijah, Isaiah, and Imani.  She is an active member of Vineyard Columbus Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, as well as many other service programs within her community.
