We initially combined this with an episode of Supergirl as well, but for listenability I’ve edited it by show the best I could. This week we discuss Batwoman S2:E3, “Bat Girl Magic!”. This episode had us questioning whether it would be alright to sit down and shoot the sh!t with Victor Zsasz and that had us questioning our decision making. Ryan’s new Batwoman suit is amazing! She made it her own and we are loving it! We meet Safiyah and she is showing us a side of Alice that we didn’t know was there. This season has been on fire! They are ramping up the gay and curing cancer! What else could you ask for from a TV show?!?

In this episode, we talk about Batwoman season 2, episode 2, “Prior Criminal History”. This episode has everything: bats in chest cavities, bats in buses, blood bags in coats, casual car stabbings - it was action packed! We are loving Ryan, but not liking how she is being treated, Julia has a really rough episode, and Alice’s plan to get Safiyah’s attention is crazy! We have an idea for a new podcast and we think it has a lot of potential.

We discuss the Batwoman season 2 premier (yay!), which we absolutely freakin loved in every way. Kate goes missing (sad face), but Ryan is as amazing as we ever could have hoped, and we just want to hug her forever. Faces are still removed. We tackle questions like: Why is Kate’s batsuit just out in the open on the plane? Is the batsuit one size fits all? Is Ryan actually a character we do know from comic books? This was a fantastic kickoff to the season, and we can’t wait to see what’s to come.

Shelley and Erin discuss episodes 8-13 of season 1 of Harley Quinn: The Animated Series. We roll through the last 6 episodes of the season to try to get through as much as possible before Batwoman returns (!!!!) with season 2 on January 17. We discuss how much we hate The Joker (it’s a lot), how deeply messed up Harley’s family is (it’s a lot), and how much Erin loved hearing Shelley have to say inappropriate words while reading an email (it’s a lot).

In this episode, we discuss Batwoman’s impromptu season finale “O, Mouse!” Mouse does meet his end, but not in the way we thought, Jacob is on another level with his obsession with Batwoman, Sophie and Julia are official, and the only thing that can kill Batwoman is … kryptonite? Mary continues to carry the BatTeam on her shoulders and is, as always, the best of us. We also discuss Ruby Rose’s departure from the series and pitch our top choices for the impending recast of Kate Kane.
