This week I'm sharing two of my favorite readings. One's that speaks to why as an animal professional you need to make space for grief. This is from Dr. Rachel Remen's "Kitchen Table Wisdom" book and this chapter is aptly named "Professionals Don't Cry". Also in the episode I read from John Roedel's "Remedy", poem #37.  Registration is currently open for my 6-month online group for women veterinarians, Living A Life You Love. Animal workers are tired. Your work has been insanely busy and so many of you are telling me you feel feeling drained and exhausted. And look! Here come the holidays. So what do you need to do this year to make it more enjoyable for yourself? What do you need to say no to? What do you want to opt out of?

You can, you know. I give you permission to and want you to give yourself permission to drop the "should" and "have to's" this year and instead find what you actually want to do and not do.

This is Holiday Self-Care.
