Judge Wilkens did not Approve the Settlement in the House vs. NCAA case. In a nutshell U.S. District Court Judge Claudia Wilkens said "Taking things Away from People is not A Good Idea" She didn't like the restrictions the parties placed on 3rd party collectives, the cap of 20 million dollars, or the fact this settlement would apply to a person who is 6 years old and didn't have representation in the settlement. 3) $600 Dollar Review on Third party NIL Deals - Judge Wilkens questioned the logic behind questioning deals over $600. She pressed the attorneys to explain how the $600 limit would benefit student-athletes.
