Bharati Singh is a senior chemistry teacher and Principal Educator at Foundations for the Future Charter Academy (FFCA) as well as an Evaluator for the Permanent Certification for the Association of Independent Schools and Colleges in Alberta, Canada. She is the former Principal of Third Academy International and the former Associate Principal of the FFCA. The Foundations for the Future Charter Academy is ranked the highest academic achieving school in Calgary, Alberta.

 

Bharati joins us today to discuss the safety and care of students and teachers within the adverse educational environment. She discusses the diversity in demographics at FFCA and the unique benefits and challenges this diversity brings to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for their students. She explains why it’s crucial for students to feel safe in the learning environment and how it impacts the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
