Then, Michael breaks down the basics of 401(k) plans. Over the course of your lifetime, it grows tax free. Start contributions to your 401(k) plan as early as possible. Figure out how much you want to contribute, set it up, and don’t touch it until retirement. Take advantage of employer matching!
