What to Avoid When Purchasing a Vintage Razor 

 

The top things to avoid:

 

1. Rust: If you see rust, there’s a good chance it will cost you a pretty penny to get right.

2. Cracks in the blade/chips (straight razors0 

3. Brassing ( plating loss) 

4. In operable functions (such as Twist to Open) 

5. Bent/Missing pieces

6. Excessive hone wear ( straight razors)
