Into things that we really don't want to receive or achieve on accident. And I started talking about, how people interrupt. They make a choice to interrupt a conversation rather than let the conversation play out. Now, I've been at a conference for a couple of days and men tend to interrupt women in conversation with other men, and they can see that it's an important conversation. And the really fascinating thing is it's a very common...
info_outlineEveryone, Sheevaun Moran here, and your quantum leap, your leap, your next step, your breakthrough comes in a couple weird ways. The other day I was having a conversation with two particular clients and the limitation that they saw of where they were, they couldn't see how it was possible to get to this exponential level of growth in their income. We'd help them grow by 30 % over the year before, and that's a huge growth opportunity for their company. And what I challenged him with and the other client I'll talk about in a second, is to really just let me play with the idea that what he believes has been and where the team is now and where they're stuck is the
place that doesn't have to be the reality of where he's going. So basically he's stuck in everything that he knows about his business that he's had for over 15 years in that place of this is only as much as I can see. This is only as much as I can even allow and that traps a lot of people.
The need to see it and need to see it and a pipeline need to see it as a reality, need to see it, you know, metrically, is going to trap you in the idea that you cannot do something exponentially beyond what you've been able to see and /or experience. And the funny thing is, is the business we've helped him grow by 30%, this little chunk of exponentialism that I was suggesting was maybe another 2 % growth. And the really fascinating thing about that is it felt and appeared to him
as if it was 1,000 % growth and it can feel like that. When you're in the midst of the need to get somewhere and the need to have that new much bigger result, you can get trapped in the thinking of what was and only what you can conceive or perceive. And so we took him through these exercises and at the end he said, "Oh, I can breathe better. I can actually imagine that the pathway that you've given is possible. And then, you know, we put some action steps in place so that would start to become the reality. And to be determined, to be continued, I can't wait to share that report with you. So maybe you're stuck in that same place. Oftentimes people are stuck in that same
place and they can't see how one they can spend in order to get to that next giant leap result that they need or want. They can only see where they are, where they are, and how far they have been able to come. And there is a topping out place. Often there is a very solid topping out place that happens with folks. I know it's happened to me and that topping out place requires you to be very,
very different collaborative connective and getting mentorship and getting somebody who
has done this before you to take you and guide you through this process. And so the idea today for you is where are you stuck?
Where are you continuing to tap out, top out, hit that hit that top level because that's where the opportunity for growth and exponentialism is really possible.
