Ministry/Business: Sweet Tea Social Marketing
Heather Heuman is a digital missionary. You heard right – God has her in the social space teaching others about marketing but through the lens of being a missionary. Her career has taken a few turns, but when Dr. Jen Bennett mentioned the term “digital missionary,” Heather knew that described what she wanted to be. Her business has taken on several forms, and most recently, God has told her to stop doing the academy that she was doing to focus on what He wants her to do. Each of us might have programs or dreams that we are holding on to tightly, and it’s time to ask God what He wants.
Today Heather continues to help her clients “tame the online beast” and show up authentically in their workspace. She unapologetically talks about Jesus because He’s important to her. How can each of us take this lesson and apply it to our own lives? Heather’s final tip might be the answer: find the one thing you need to communicate and don’t hide. Be all that God created you to be in your industry, and then share it!
