About Jamie:
Talking about death helps us process what happens. Jamie Sarche wants us to start talking about the hard stuff. When you're in the dark things are a lot scarier. More talking equals less fear. If we recognize that our life is finite we can live more fully and more meaningfully. Notorious tough-talker, Jamie Sarche, works hard to get people to put plans in place long before they need them. As the director of prearranged funeral planning, she helps them make educated decisions that are not clouded by grief. Her clients often say the process was much less difficult than they expected and that they feel a sense of peace for having taken care of it. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
