Why do people hold on to a relationship—ignoring their own misery—even when they know it's over? the biggest sign you're in a dead-end relationship is when there's inequity of effort i.e. one member of the relationship is working much harder to maintain the relationship than the other. Long story short, a dead-end relationship is one you're hoping could go the distance but it can't — and it won't.

A Situationship is that space between a committed relationship and something that is more than a friendship. On the one hand, removing the pressure of putting parameters on what the relationship is and isn't can be freeing – as long as both parties are okay with leaving things open. On the flip side, not knowing where you stand can be detrimental, especially if one party wants more of a commitment. This vagueness often leads one person to feel uncertainty and rejected.

It is my personal belief that you cannot have a good relationship without good sex. How you connect physically is incredibly indicative of how you connect emotionally. We guard our emotions the same way we guard our physical imperfections – and if we can expose both to our partner, we can connect on a deeper level. Part of this requires communication and work as a couple, but it requires equal parts of honesty and work within yourself.
info_outlineHave you ever spent hours trying to decode the behavior of a love interest and end up lashing out out of frustration and confusion?
You're far better off focusing on living your life than trying to understand someone who doesn't care as much as you do.
