How will social media change democracy? Do we need representational democracy (voting in a mediator) or can we run a direct democracy on Government-as-a-platform. Given that the biggest issues that faced Australia's prime ministerial battle was lack of communication from Government AND Media, should social media be utilised more? For oversease subscribers, this morning Australia's Prime Minister faced a battle against her ex Prime Minister for leadership.
