Election day is Tuesday November 7th and some voting has already begun.

About Mayor Pike

Jon Pike was raised in Salt Lake City and received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Utah and an MBA from Westminster College.  Jon has worked in several positions with Intermountain Healthcare since 1990 – and since 1995 here in St. George.

One of the highlights of Jon’s career has been working as project manager for the planning and construction of Dixie Regional Medical Center at River Road, which opened in 2003. He currently works as the regional operations director for SelectHealth – the health insurance division of Intermountain Healthcare.

In 2007 Jon was elected to the St. George City Council and in 2013 he was elected as Mayor of St. George.  He serves on the boards of Dixie State University, Dixie Applied Technology College, Washington County Water Conservancy District, St. George Area Economic Development, Utah League of Cities and Towns, and several other city and county-related boards.

Jon loves singing, playing the piano, organ, and guitar, as well as water and snow skiing, motorcycling, and walking or biking on St. George’s many trails.  Jon and his wife Kristy have five children and one grandchild.
