ABOUT MARI
Mari Krashowetz, Executive Officer for the Southern Utah Home Builders Association (SUHBA) has been employed by SUHBA for 16 years. She oversees the daily SUHBA operations including five staff members, coordinates the annual St. George Area Parade of Homes, and handles the Government Affairs program to help keep housing a priority in our area. Mari along with the SUHBA team, and many SUHBA members, coordinates the annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, the annual Utah Building Industry Conference, and organizes Southern Utah Home Builders Care Foundation projects. Some past projects include the building and expansion of the Doctors Volunteer Clinic, remodel of SwitchPoint Housing and Resource Center, and most recently coordinated the building of a 4,000 square foot pavilion/training center and outdoor amphitheater for the Boy Scouts of America at the Marion D. Hanks Quail Creek Scout Camp. These projects were made possible by caring building industry professionals and will leave a lasting legacy in our community.
Mari has contributed countless hours to Habitat for Humanity and has served on their Board of Directors. Mari is currently serving on the Executive Committee for St. George Area Economic Development. Mari was named on the Top 5 Most Influential Women of Southern Utah by The Spectrum in 2014. She loves living in beautiful Southern Utah and enjoys giving back to her community. She enjoys volunteering for her church and has served in many positions. Mari was married recently and together she and her husband Tony have eleven children, including a set of triplets. Her family is most important to her and the joy in her life.
