info_outlineIt's Michelle Groskopf Week on StreetPX!
We have one hell of a fun show for you today, as we sit down with "Full Frontal" member and L.A.'s own, Michelle Groskopf. A spectacular street photographer with a heart of nostalgia and a head of creativity. Simply put, one hell of a great person and we had a blast chatting with her.
Hailing from the suburbs of Toronto, Canada, Michelle found an early love for visual story telling and through the guidance of an inspired high school art teacher, her passion grew and took her far from home. After studying abroad, she found herself in New York City, working as a video producer and teaching at the NY School of Visual Arts.
Most recently, she traded the Big Apple for the City of Angels and settled in Los Angeles to pick up a camera, a flash and begin focusing on developing her own projects... and what a path she has walked.
What is street photography?
It’s a meditation… Im walking down the street. I’m really honed in, paying attention to the things that excite me, that pass me by. And then I photograph them.
