Sydney starred in 'It Always Rains on Sunday' (1947), 'Reach for the Sky' (1956) and many other classic films. Joy's films include ' Waterloo Road' (1945) and 'Millions Like Us' (1943). Jonathan's new book, 'Dearest Joy' shares letters between the newly-married Sydney and Joy as work commitments see them separated at the end of World War 2. Pregnant Joy is working in the West End, whilst Sydney is touring with Olivier's Old Vic company. Sydney's travels take him to, among other places, Germany just after VE Day. Jonathan also shares his own latest acting projects with us.
