Gary Smalley was an amazingly talented musician who touched many lives before his death from cancer in March 1999.

We invite you to share your thoughts about Gary Smalley below

Gary was originally from Memphis Tennessee but called Jacksonville, Florida his home where he raised his family and built his music career. Smalley’s music career included membership with the Curtis Willis Band and The Roosters, working with the Lynyrd Skynyrd band, and countless side projects. His last studio album, Dancin', was released posthumously.

Today’s show is a tribute to Gary and his music, though this broadcast in no way is a complete depiction of Gary’s body of work and impact on the many many musicians he worked with. We chose May 21st to release the show in honor what would have been Gary’s 67th birthday. Songs from the show in order Dancin' Album: Dancin'// Piece of My Heart // Olivia // Two Birds

Special thanks to Craig Spirko, Producer of Dancin', for his interview.
