234: The Authority and Power of God: Part 2

Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise and we honor your name for you have given us your name. And your word declared that whatsoever we ask, in your name, believing and not doubting, it shall be done.

 

So we thank you, God, that we have your name, the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, in Jesus' name. So we speak with authority and we speak, glory, with strength this morning, that everything in our lives, that's not of God, that's contrary to the will of God. We speak that it would be cast down, in Jesus' name. We give you glory. We give you praise for power over every negative influence. For power over negative thoughts. Glory be to God. And we pull down negative patterns of thinking. We pull down, glory be to God, every thought that will exalt itself above the knowledge of God. And we decree and declare that we have the mind of Christ in the name of Jesus.

 

We cast down every imagination. Glory be to God. And we pull it under the authority that you have given us. You've given us a great name, the name of Jesus. And Jesus, you have defeated the enemy. Glory be to God. Give us to know, glory be to God, that we're more than conquerors through him who loves us.

 

Give us to know that greater is he that's on our side, that he that is against us. Give us to know, glory be to God, that you always cause us to triumph. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You have given us the power and the authority to speak in your name. Glory be to God. And we speak and declare. That the great blessings of God upon our lives.

 

Upon our children. Upon our relationship. Upon every area of our lives. Glory be to God. And we honor you for all glory. Thank you, Lord Jesus. We honor you for the peace and the comfort that we have in knowing you. In Jesus' name we pray.
