"Hey guys, it’s Keith. Well, for the sake of just saying it, I’m wrapping up The Dimestore Jukebox… and by wrapping up The Dimestore Jukebox, Season 1 of the podcast has come to a close. I realize for all of you regular listeners out there that this may be a little sudden, as it is a little sudden for me too. As much as I’ve enjoyed giving you guys content to listen to week after week throughout half of 2019 and doing work for the show beyond that timeframe, I realized it was about time to take a brief breather from the show and reflect on how I can make this podcast, which I’m very much proud of, even better!

As I say at the end of each episode, please feel free to reach out to me on The Dimestore Jukebox’s Twitter, Instagram or Facebook if you want to suggest any guests for me to have on the podcast. I really want to understand my fanbase a little bit more and get to know what you guys are listening to as well! That said, if you have any comments about the show- what you like, what you love, things I could  improve on to make the show better- send me your thoughts and critiques so Season 2 of the podcast can hit the ground running!

I’d like to give recognition to all of the guests I’ve had on the show this season, and yes I’m going to give a role call. Everyone has been beyond great for their time and support of the show. Lionties, Jernee Mill, The Vaughns, The Quiet Giants, Cory Branan, Cold Weather Company, Zak Ferentz, Olivia Riggio, Guy Battaglia, Bobby Mahoney, The Break Lights, The Dead Flowers, Zoochie, GoldenOak, Sammy Kay, Taylor Davis, Connor Bracken, Matt Cook, Mike Vidal, Matthew Ryan, Kayleigh Goldsworthy, Austin Plaine, Becca Stevens, Marc Del Giudice, Jarod Clemons, and the Bryan Hansen Band. Once more, I want to thank everyone for their time on the show, from the many laughs to the deep conversations that were had. It’s awesome I get to chat with people like them, looking at who they are beyond the music.

I can’t wait to have more guests on with their own stories to share. Most importantly, though,  I’d like to thank all of you listening for your support throughout the year. It’s been amazing seeing the community grow, getting positive feedback from friends and strangers alike! If you haven’t already done so, follow The Dimestore Jukebox on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook so you can check out updates on what’s going on with the show and when it will be coming back. Also subscribe to The Dimestore Jukebox wherever you listen to podcasts, as I’ll be posting updates right here where you’re listening as well! For the time being though, I do intend on having more articles published on thedimestorejukebox.com over the course of the next few months, so it’s not like The Dimestore Jukebox will really be gone.

Well, that’s about all that I have to say right now. Though I’d like to bring your attention to the band Lionties once more and thank Paul Pesenti for letting me use the tune ‘Coastal Bottom’ as the theme song for the podcast. As I close off this message, I’d like to play the song in full for you guys. And like a broke record I’ll say this once more. Thank you so much everybody. I’ll be back in early 2020, which will be in no time! I’m Keith Haas, and this is The Dimestore Jukebox."

Song featured: "Coastal Bottom"- Lionties.
