info_outlineThis episode with Pam and Charlie really is about Change and Uncertainty because any time you travel to a foreign country, things rarely turn out the way you expect them to. Most of your expectations seem to get turned upside down, and are changed, like it or not. So… in order to have a great experience you learn to drop most all expectations and simply “go with the flow.”
Let’s start with some background. Pam and I have been in Italy for a little more than two weeks and have accomplished the foolish task of visiting 5 areas in that short time: We have stayed in Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Siracusa and Palermo Sicily, and finally Milan. And you know what? I’m about to keel over in exhaustion.
Pam and I are moderately experienced travelers and yet we continue to learn and grow with each experience. We plan to talk about some of that growth today.
Before I bring on Pam, I’d like you to know she is a Leadership Coach working with corporate executives, directors and managers. She plans all the details of our trips, while it is my job is to figure what we want to do once we get there. She's a planner. I’m a curious learner. We make a great team.
