- Uh, which is a short “A” sound or a schwa “A” sound.
- GLOO, like the sticky substance we use to stick two things together
- And tide, like the ocean tide

- En, like the letter “N” in the alphabet
- Duh, which is an interjection we use in the US to mean, “Isn’t it obvious?!” For example, if someone told you, “Water is wet,” you might say, “Duh! Water IS wet.” 🙄
- I emphasize the middle syllable “en,” but no syllable is emphasized in the literature.
