Cameron Talbott is getting his first pro skate this week. What’s crazy is that Cam is 37 years old, and while he was a sponsored am for a long time, he didn’t achieve pro status until he was 25. While that’s impressive, what’s even more impressive are the hammers and creativity that define his skating. Not too bad for a kid who came up with nothing in Missoula, Montana. TPM Episode 430: Stuart Rempel, Salomon, Olin, K2, Whistler show art TPM Episode 430: Stuart Rempel, Salomon, Olin, K2, Whistler

The Powell Movement Action Sports Podcast

Stuart Rempel has one of those resumes. If you look at it, you know that he has lived an incredible life, and it all started with a ski bum mentality. Stuart went from pounding nails and skiing winters to running Salomon NA, Olin, K2 Skis, and Whistler. Most people at that level have a few degrees and plenty of suits. That’s not Stuart, though. Throughout his career, he made it a priority to be on snow as much as possible, and the beta he gathered from the hill was used to make skiing better.  It’s another great business episode with an important person in the hardgoods and resort...

Amy Buckalter is a boss. One of those smart people, who have that thing, where you know they understand how business works and how to amplify.
