Kelly’s BIO:
Kelly Charles-Collins is a veteran Employment Law Trial Attorney, National HR Leader, TEDx Speaker, and National Author of “ACE Your Workplace Investigations.” For over 20 years, she has been empowering small businesses to Fortune 100 companies to discover and leverage the true value of their workforce and to stay on the right side of hashtag movements.

A left brain/right brain lawyer, Kelly is an analytical free-spirit. She is as real as it gets – a true “salt of the earth.” She gives you the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Kelly is an expert in workplace investigations, unconscious bias and bystander intervention. She conducts workplace investigations and provides training and consulting programs to help companies reduce bias, eliminate harassment, and banish incivility.

Her book “ACE Your Workplace Investigations” is based on her ACE Technique which she has used to save her clients millions of dollars and create safe, inclusive, and harmonious workplace cultures that deliver results. In June, Kelly will launch her online course where she will personally teach you her ACE Technique to empower you to conduct legally compliant workplace investigations.

Kelly is licensed to practice in Florida, Georgia and the US Virgin Islands.

In addition to being an attorney, Kelly is the CEO of HR Legally Speaking, a professional speaking, training and consulting company. She is a professional member of the National Speakers Association, an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, and a Professor at the University of Tampa. Kelly is also the creator of the bySTANDer free zoneTM based on her TEDx talk about the Bystander Effect where she discusses the impact of indifference and the power of action.

A powerhouse, Kelly’s presentations are interactive and thought-provoking. Through stories and her real-world experience, Kelly equips participants with realistic, practical tools they can implement immediately to overcome challenges in their workplace. But she’s not all business – you never know when there’ll be music and dancing. Kelly is available for keynotes, on-site training, one-to-one coaching, webinars and consulting.

Kelly resides in Tampa, Florida with her husband and is the mom of a son who lives in Georgia. When she’s not “lawyering,” Kelly is speaking, training or writing. And when she’s not working, you can find this Jamaican girl hanging out with her large, extended family somewhere close to the water.
