Lyana was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and explains what it was like growing up there, versus now. Her vast and varied education includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Material Science Engineering, Simón Bolívar University, Venezuela,
- Master’s Degree, Business Administration from Metropolitana University,Venezuela,
- Diploma of Religious Education Teacher and Catechist, Instituto Superior de Teología y Pastoral of the Archdioceses of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and
- Certified Laical Minister and Catechist from the Diocese of Orange.
Lyana is married to Leopoldo Peña and three children complete their family: Leopoldo, Luis David, and Fabiana.
