info_outlineLabor Day is here, football season has kicked off, and the Kibbe and Friends Show crew is in full celebration mode! Episode 338 brings you the perfect mash-up of cars, pop culture, and football fever as Rob, Corndog, and Bernie trade stories about their alma maters, their favorite mascots (yes, even the strange ones), and the absolute art form that is college football tailgating. From pancakes and mimosas to tents with chandeliers, it turns out tailgating is just as competitive as the games themselves.
But it’s not all football talk. The guys dive into what’s ahead at MoParty 2025—complete with drag racing, autocross, and the can’t-miss Vice Grip Garage Van-Demonium. Picture rusty minivans turned into race machines, complete with sliding doors, questionable horsepower, and plenty of chaos on track. Sadly, Rob won’t be at MoParty this year (family racing duties call), but that doesn’t mean the coverage will be any less entertaining. Expect swap meets, celebrity cars, and maybe even Corndog disappearing into the parts aisle until Sunday.
There’s also a heartfelt moment as the guys look back on the retirement of Lee Corso from ESPN’s College GameDay. His send-off was pure class—complete with marching band tributes and a final headgear pick—and it struck a chord with the crew. If you’ve ever loved a sport, a broadcaster, or even just the joy of giving people their flowers while they’re alive, you’ll connect with this segment. It’s a nice reminder that even in a show full of laughs, there’s always room for a bit of heart.
Of course, this wouldn’t be Kibbe and Friends without some car talk. From tuning gadgets that keep your warranty safe, to Mopar rumors, to Bernie’s oddly captivating news desk, there’s plenty of gearhead goodness sprinkled throughout. Whether you’re here for the cars, the comedy, or the completely unexpected rabbit trails (buses in Speed, anyone?), Episode 338 is a ride you’ll want to take.
Featured Segment – Dukes of Hazzard Review
Dukes Review: “Pin the Tail on the Dukes” (Season 4, Ep. 17)
To top it all off, the crew revisits a Hazard County classic: Pin the Tail on the Dukes. This Season 4 gem finds Uncle Jesse’s old friend Hector Farley back in town, seeking revenge on Boss Hogg after years of being swindled. Naturally, it’s up to Bo and Luke to keep Hector from turning Hazard into a crime scene—complete with plenty of wild stunts and near misses.
The real highlight? John Schneider and Tom Wopat doing their own on-screen stunts. From sliding cars at impossible angles to rope-swinging escapes, this episode reminds fans why the Dukes became iconic. Even Boss and Roscoe can’t help but gawk at some of the action. And speaking of Roscoe, we get the surprising revelation that he was once a high-school quarterback!
It’s a football-flavored Dukes of Hazzard episode that blends comedy, classic Hazard County hijinks, and some of the best stunt work of the series. Whether you’re watching for nostalgia, the General Lee, or just to see what trouble Boss Hogg has cooked up this time, this review is a can’t-miss feature.
