info_outlineIn February 2021, country music star Morgan Wallen was suspended from his record label and his music was pulled by several radio stations and streaming services after a video surfaced of him shouting a racial slur.
Immediately following this incident, his sales increased 1,220%. On April 7th, Wallen was arrested on felony charges for allegedly throwing a chair from the roof of a bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. This incident added to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding his actions and public image.
