info_outlineLevel Crossing Brewing Company celebrated its two-year anniversary on March 30, 2021. I sat down with Founder Mark Medura and Head Brewer Chris Detrick to get insight into how Level Crossing not only weathered but also thrived in its first two years in business—the second of which included surviving a full-blown pandemic.
This isn’t the first time we’ve visited Level Crossing for the podcast. If you’d like to learn more about how the brewery came to be, please listen to Episode 14 of the Utah Beer News Podcast (or read the article). That one went out right before Level Crossing opened its doors in March 2019.
But in this episode, we really get into the beers—the small-batch Red Feather Series, specifically. Chris and Mark talk about the story behind most of them, as well as the thought and strategy that goes into releasing the beers when they do. Plus: the pair teases a new release—a uniquely Utah brew, apparently—that should be hitting the market any day now.
Thanks to Mark and Chris for taking the time to visit with Utah Beer News. And thank you for listening. I hope you enjoy hearing more about Level Crossing Brewing. If you enjoy this type of storytelling, I’d really appreciate it if you could please leave a review on your podcast platform of choice.
And now, let’s dive in to learn more about Level Crossing Brewing Company and its Red Feather Small-Batch series.
