Rainer W. Campmann liest aus seinem Buch: „Brüche oder Die Welt in den Novemberkeiten“,  Erzählungen Prosastücke Kleine Dichtungen, Bochum 2016, ISBN 978-3-8196-1035-6, Titelbild H. D. Gölzenleuchter. Aufnahme vom 27. März 2017, Zweigstelle der Stadtbücherei Bochum, Wiemelhausen. Aufgenommen und bearbeitet von Karl-Heinz Gajewsky. Rainer W. Campmann wurde 1944 in Winterberg (Sauerland) geboren. Kindheit und Schule in Bochum. Als Zeitsoldat gehörte er für vier Jahre der Bundesmarine an. Berufstätig als Stahlwerker, Lkw-Fahrer, Journalist. Seit Ende der Siebzigerjahre Schriftsteller in Bochum. Er verfasst Gedichte, Essays, Erzählungen und ist Herausgeber von Anthologien und Sammlungen. Im Auftrag des Werkkreises Literatur der Arbeitswelt gab er in der Westdeutschen Allgemeinen Zeitung (WAZ) von 1974 bis 1988 die Literatur- und Grafikseite „Aus der Werkstatt“ heraus. Veröffentlichungen (Auswahl): „Nachbarschaftskunde“, Roman, 2012. „Brandfelder. Einunddreißig Gedichte“, 1992. „Augenblicke der Erinnerung“, Texte und Bilder aus dem Revier (1991 (herausgegeben 
zus. mit Hugo Ernst Käufer). „Totes Inventar“, Gedichte über das Altern, 1988 (Linolschnitte Horst Dieter Gölzenleuchter). „Sieben Häute hat die Zwiebel“, 10 Jahre Aus der Werkstatt in der WAZ, Geschichten, Gedichte und Grafiken (1984; herausgegeben zus. mit Udo Bruns). „Heinrich Kämpchen. Seid einig, seid einig, dann sind wir auch frei“, Gedichte und Kommentare (1984; herausgegeben zus. mit Walter Köpping). Von 1970 bis 1990. Mitglied im Werkkreis Literatur der Arbeitswelt, Werkstatt Dortmund; er ist Mitglied im Verband deutscher Schriftsteller (VS) und in der Europäischen Autorenvereinigung „Die Kogge“. Auszeichnungen: Preisträger des Hammer Prosawettbewerbs (1971), Arbeitsstipendium des Landes NRW (1978).
