They literally put Thayer Street in the South End of Boston on the map, by naming their first album that and having infamous “after parties” at their studio/loft on that street. At the height of their popularity in the 80s tragedy struck, but as true survivors, they took some time off, regrouped and to this day they are still putting out new music. The local punk scene may have come and gone and come again, but it is a true testament that thru it all The Dogmatics still shine.
