Natalie Sommer: Born and raised in Germany, Natalie attended university in Miami & Pensacola where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English education and master’s in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership. She’s a veteran educator with over 25 years’ experience and currently teaches art at Avalon Middle School in Santa Rosa County. She birthed Studio South 159 days ago and recently opened her doors in June. Opening a business has always been Sommer’s dream and she hopes that Studio South with leave her mark on all hand-crafters by providing workshops in the cottage and domestic arts to revive that maker’s spirit, soothing the soul or creating a self-sustaining lifestyle of quality and goodness.
