Wrasslin' Raw

It’s the Pay Per View that buries itself! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys examine one of the weakest Pay Per Views in recent memory, full of disappointing moments in some surprising places. The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mankind and the Rock all end up with low star counts, while the undercard does its best to prop the show up. D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry delivered, and so did Goldust. Don’t forget about that special treat though: Debra’s Tastykakes!

Two Tiger appearances is too much! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys review the go-home show leading into the Rock Bottom Pay Per View. The Rock, Mankind, the Undertaker, and Stone Cold Steve Austin all take part in a climactic main event, but the undercard left something to be desired. Steve Blackman and Jeff Jarrett continue to circle the drain, Hawk gets his first mention post-murder, and the Brood are trending downward. At least Sloppy Bob got to walk away with the Ho’s, though!

Wrasslin' Raw

Let’s bust a move, baby!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys sit down to watch a great episode that highlights the blossoming romance between Mark Henry and Chyna, much to D-Lo Brown’s chagrin.  The Acolytes appear to have debuted somewhere else already, Triple H makes his return to our screens, and the Big Bossman gets a little gold for his waist.  The Undertaker continues his hunt for the opposition, this time in the form of Kane, and Stone Cold Steve Austin seeks his revenge!

Who let that mullet back in here?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at the ongoing machinations of the McMahon family, as Mankind defends his Hardcore Title against the Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock;  Shawn Michaels’ return at Vince’s request is a little suspect, and the Undertaker is hunting Stone Cold Steve Austin.  The Blue Blazer continues to be a stain on the legacy of Owen Hart, and the New Age Outlaws continue to circle the drain… At least Sable wasn’t in this one!

Who’s ready for asses being kissed and asses being found?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at the fallout from Survivor Series, with phenomenal storytelling from The Rock, Vince and Shane McMahon, and Mankind.  Mark Henry takes a big step up in his angle with Chyna, Ken Shamrock enters the next phase of being a heel, and D-Generation X continues to languish without Triple H.  You know what else this episode could use?  A suicide angle!

The tournament for the WWF Championship plays out, and Mankind, Ken Shamrock, and the Undertaker all take part in it. Another classic episode of Raw as we head into the 1998 Survivor Series. Mankind gets a makeover and defends the WWE Hardcore Championship for the first time ever against Ken Shamrock! The Rock has to fight his way back into the Survivor Series tournament, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Big Boss Man exchange words on the mic, and the Brood and a lowly referee get soaked with gasoline by Kane. An action packed go-home show from WWE!

All Vince wanted was some coffee… In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys continue to ride the wave of amazing Monday Night Raw episodes leading to Survivor Series.  Mankind takes a step down when he joins Al Snow against the Oddities, and the Headbangers’ impersonation of the New Age Outlaws falls flat.  The Brood look great in tag action, Kane gets back to basics smearing superstars,  and Terri Runnels tries to revive Marlena.  How on earth is Val Venis still a babyface?

Why is it always entertaining seeing a man get kicked in the balls?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys view another stop in Wisconsin for Monday Night Raw, and the lawlessness continues.  Hawk is now an auxiliary member of the Legion of Doom, Kane looks more like a monster than a jobber, and the Insane Clown Posse get some time in the ring.  Steve Blackman looks great against X-Pac, but Chyna will be taking some time off.  Let’s throw Motley Crue out there too, why not?

More Episodes

Who would have thought that a creep would be a heel?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys share some mixed opinions on various aspects of the Breakdown Pay Per View.  There are some very clear winners, like the Rock, and some clear losers, like Southern Justice.  In between are matches featuring Al Snow, Gangrel, D-Lo Brown, and XPac, as well as a lesser end of the spectrum with Vader and Droz.  Too Much? Not enough!
