Stanlo began as a nursing professional, Worked as a nurse for 15 years before retiring last year. For many years, Akisah found it challenging to find the right color and pairing combinations for his suits here in the United States. Thus birthing Stanlion’s signature style combining bold, with unusual combinations.
In 2016, Stanlion was featured in FabAfrique for innovative fashion designs. In 2017-2018, we accepted an award from KMP Ghana for leading the way in fashion in the Washington Metropolitan area. In 2019-2020, Stanlo received the trail award in Fashion and Design in 2021 .Stanlion has been featured in Luxe Kurves Magazine, Monarch Magazine, has worked with a number of prominent shows and celebrity stylists.
Today, he comes on the "You Can Be Anything Podcast" to share more light on his beginnings, life experiences, creative process, and how he has been able to build a globally recognized fashion brand. We hope his story inspires you to become anything. Thanks.
