Queer comedians Damian Bellino and Anne Rodeman are best friends who are devoted to actresses and each other. These pop culture savants chew the fat about what they’re so into and what they’re decidedly not. Each episode they lead a brilliant and sometimes idiotic conversation with a different actress, delving into the guest's life, work, and the hogwash that comes along with being overqualified and underutilized.

He's quickly becoming the Lewis Black of Parkinson's Disease. In a series of hilarious essays, Bill Schmalfeldt (author of "No Doorway Wide Enough", also on Podiobooks) lashes out at Parkinson's Disease "and the other things that annoy me." Recorded at his kitchen table, you can hear life going on in the background as Bill talks about stupid studies that prove things that anyone with common sense should know ("Parkies who drool are embarrassed by it! It's SCIENCE!"), his own declining cognitive status ("Pills don't work... unless you TAKE them!"), the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's ("I think the thing to do is take some daily Metamucil to make a poop that doesn't have to fight its way out every morning like the Incredible Hulk busting out of a police station."), why he had to quit drinking ("One of the pills I take said alcohol could cause the adverse side effect of death."), and a lot about the weird dreams that are caused by the disease and the medication he takes for the disease. Oh, and he's not much of a "Tea Party" fan, either. Bill cautions in the foreword of the book, if you find yourself LEARNING something or feeling sorry for him, put the book down immediately! That's not what he wrote it for. He wrote it to fight back against the disease and to give you something to laugh about. "PD can't affect the human spirit -- unless you let it! And who doesn't enjoy a funny book about disease?" "You Never Miss the Dopamine (until the brain runs dry)" is available in paperback, eBook and Kindle through his blog -- http://parkinsondiary.com -- and like his PREVIOUS books about Parkinson's, 100% of the author proceeds will be given to the National Parkinson Foundation and the Charles DBS Research Fund at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

You Rolled A 1 is the D&D podcast that proves failure is half the fun! We believe that epic adventures aren’t just about rolling high—they’re about the chaotic, ridiculous, and downright disastrous moments that make the best stories. Our mission is to celebrate the joy of roleplaying, inspiring people to embrace the unexpected both in the game and in life. Join our band of misfits in this actual play podcast, where the quips are sharp, the dice rolls are terrible, and the consequences are even worse. Led by Professor Epic, our Dungeon Master, we dive into the homebrew city of Veloth—a gritty, crime-ridden port city filled with eccentric characters, corrupt officials, and warring gangs. Season 1 follows four of the Veloth Police Department’s newest recruits as they fumble their way through their first (and possibly last) big case: Who stole the Sapphire Rose? With critical failures at every turn, will they solve the mystery—or just make things hilariously worse? You Rolled A 1—because sometimes, the best adventures start with the worst rolls. Season 2: The Greatest Heist That Never Was Season 2 of You Rolled A 1 took a bold new direction, following four criminal rats—yes, actual rats—deep in Veloth’s sewer underbelly as they attempted the biggest heist in Veloth’s history. It had everything: cunning schemes, high-stakes crime, and a literal rat pack of misfits ready to gnaw their way to glory. And then… we rolled a Nat 1 on life. Just four episodes in, the season completely fell apart thanks to COVID, scheduling chaos, and enough real-world mishaps to put our in-game failures to shame. Did the rats pull off the heist? Did they even make it out of the sewers? No one knows. What we do know is that for the brief time it existed, Season 2 was an absolute mess—and an absolute blast. Tune in to experience the most hilariously doomed D&D season in history… before it all crumbles apart. Season 3 is back with a vengeance with a new party, new world and a new DM. We start in Seafall a coastal town in Belkar where the Driftwood Crown was stolen. The party must get it back... what could go wrong? Follow us https://www.instagram.com/yourolleda1
