ACR JOURNALS ON AIR
Welcome to “ACR Journals on Air,” the ACR’s newest podcast series featuring interviews, commentary, and analysis on research from our three peer-reviewed journals. Join us each episode for engaging discussions with authors and independent experts about recently published studies, their implications for clinical care, and how they move the field of rheumatology forward. Whether it’s an expert analysis of a manuscript or deep dive with an author – our goal is the same – to understand the impact of the science and bring it from the bench to the bedside

As the official podcast of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), ACR on Air seeks to have informative and engaging conversations rheumatology professionals want to hear – ranging in topic from trends in clinical practice, to issues affecting rheumatology professionals, and the changing landscape of the rheumatology field. ACROSS FROM JERICHO: AN ACTIVIST HISTORY PODCAST
Freedom is the watchword of America. But many of her own citizens have had to struggle to get it, often at great personal cost. Emma Goldman rose up and resisted the notion that patriotism meant women, immigrants, and the poor staying quiet about their places in American life. Listen how in the early twentieth century, one woman galvanized the underclass while striking fear in the hearts of law enforcement and the federal government. Narrated by Jeff Grossman, and starring Sarah Natochenny (Ash Ketchum, Pokémon), Spencer Fox (Dash Parr, The Incredibles), Roy North, and Nathan Repasz.
ACROSS THE AISLE
Your Facebook feed probably never disagrees with you. We will. We live in an increasingly segregated world. Major media like Fox News, MSNBC, Rush Limbaugh, and Rachel Maddow preach, earsplitting and vulgar, to the choirs of the left and the right. Everyone is told that God and George Washington is on their side, and their opponents are Hitler in high heels or Stalin in shorts. I’m right, you’re wrong, and all of America sleeps content in their goodness. Our friends, family and co-workers are increasingly judged quickly and entirely on who they voted for in the last election and disposed of if their answers don’t add up. Yet this has bred an increasingly dysfunctional society. Washington, even with one party in power, seems incapable of getting anything done. And Americans have begun to look on each other with fear, hostility, and even sometimes hate. But what if there is another way? Across the Aisle attempts to find it. We believe that discussion, persuasion, evidence, and compromise can find solutions to the problems of the 21st century that both left and right can agree on. We believe that things can’t stay as they are, so we need to find a new way forward. Won’t you come with us?
