En France, les grands procès, les faits divers, les grandes transats à la voile… Mais surtout à l’étranger : guerre du Kippour, chute de Saïgon, les « boat people » à Poulo Bidong, la guerre du Liban, Kolwezi, la révolution islamique en Iran, Israël après les accords de Camp David, la mort d’Elvis Presley, la grève de la faim des militants de l’IRA, les élections des Papes Jean-Paul 1er et Jean-Paul II, la tentative de coup d’État en Espagne, l’indépendance du Zimbabwe… En quittant le terrain, il a emmené avec lui son Nagra III, quelques archives écrites et deux cartons remplis de bobines et de K7 audios, avec, en vrac, ses meilleurs souvenirs de reportage. Au fil des déménagements, il a toujours pris soin de conserver ces deux cartons, jusqu’à sa mort le 3 mai 2021. Ses archives, témoignage historique singulier, sont à découvrir dans « 5…4…3…2…1…0 ».
