CROSS
Cross-Exam-A-Nation is a podcast which explores news, sports, culture, technology, business and legal issues in a wide variety of areas. We particularly enjoy meeting people and talking to them about their careers or even just their jobs. Our approach is different in that we largely construct relevant questions that allow our subjects to further examine the topics in greater detail or from a differing perspective.
CROSSING CULTURES, MAKING DISCIPLES
What if you could hang out with veteran international student ministry workers, hear about their efforts to reach and disciple international students for Christ, learn from their best practices and their “don’t do these things”, then take an idea or two to inspire and improve your personal and group ministry? That’s what we do each week on the “Crossing Cultures, Making Disciples” podcast. Hosted by Steve Bortner, a nearly 30-yr veteran of international student ministry, every episode will be an in-depth look at how to welcome and befriend, and love and serve international students, that you might disciple them to be Ambassadors for Jesus Christ.
CROSSING FRONTERAS
This podcast series surveys the unique ecosystem of contemporary scholarship and art being generated by scholars and creatives in New England who are working in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Episodes in the series address topics such as knowledge production and technological adaptation in the Global South; trans activism and feminism in transnational perspective; indigenous perspectives on the cosmos and the capitalist state; and processes of cultural hybridization though migration and South-South relations. Join us for a fascinating set of conversations from thinkers and innovators crossing boundaries and expanding the frontiers of Latin American and Caribbean Studies. The music for Crossing Fronteras was written, performed, and recorded by Dr. Carlos Odria, a Peruvian-born guitarist and ethnomusicologist, and an Assistant Professor of Music and Interdisciplinary Arts at the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Worcester State University.
