42 Treating People with A Christ-Forward Mindset with Sean Troxclair of Troxcare
In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Sean Troxclair to discuss his treatment style and how he is serving the people of Shreveport at a high level. Sean Troxclair MD, CNSC is a physician with formal training in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Nutrition. Dr. Troxclair has worked in intensive care units, emergency rooms, and outpatient settings both in the private sector and in academia, as well as teaching medical students and residents. Dr. Troxclair’s career has been spent treating patients with an approach that addresses the whole person, not just individual disease states. He is adept at helping people get off of a multitude of medications and taking control of their health from a biological level, typically starting with nutrition. Early on his gut told him that medicine was not a ‘one size fits all’ practice, and has always been on the fringe with doctors who attempted to go against the grain when addressing his patients individual needs. The practice has allowed him to merge integrative, functional, and nutritional therapies with traditional medicine into a more cohesive practice. Dr. Trox’s goal is to change health outcomes in patients with chronic diseases who are not improving in our current medical system. He wants patients to continue to learn what they can do to become healthier and feels that medicine is ever evolving. Dr. Troxclair wishes to instill in patients information to improve their health on their own, thus freeing themselves from a litany of supplements and medications. (318) 536-0334

32 Merry Christmas

32 Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas! I hope you know the love of Jesus Christ in Your life! Luke 2 The Birth of Jesus In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to their own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
