I’m your host, Stacy Mikulik, the former lawyer turned jewelry designer. I graduated from top schools and practiced law in big cities, but after a decade in the legal profession, I lost my father to cancer and it forever changed the way I look at the world. It caused me to change my priorities, examine the motivations behind my life choices, and ultimately make the Unlikely Choice to quit my lawyer job and start a jewelry brand. In the years that followed, I built a multi-six-figure business doing something I love, moved to a different part of the country more aligned with my personality, and focused on creating a life that feels more like me. Here, I’ll share all that I’ve learned since I said “I quit” in 2017.
