CT has had so many amazing experiences based on his career and volunteer work. He has crossed paths with celebrities and has a TON of Great Stories. His friends and family have heard them all so he’e ready to bring them to the world! Rich has worked in the broadcast media sector for many years. He’s produced television shows, commercials, and has built brands. He has had so many awesome experiences as he has traveled the world with a camera in his hand. Scott is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with almost 23 years of active-duty service. He spent nearly 18 years in Army Special Forces (Green Berets) with tours throughout Central and South America, along with three combat tours in Afghanistan. He is the founder of Task Force Pineapple, which has enabled the evacuation of 1,000 Afghan Allies during the August 2021 NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan. He wrote the book, Operation Pineapple Express, which became a New York Times Best Seller, and chronicled the courage of at-risk Afghans risking everything for freedom and the volunteer efforts of veterans and other volunteers who supported them. Scott also authored the #1 International Best Seller, Game Changers, Going Local to Defeat Violent Extremists, a comprehensive work that spells out the Afghanistan community engagement methodology to law enforcement and special operations forces. As you all know, Jim spent 4 years at Michigan, the last 3 playing for Bo Schembechler, he was a Sophomore during that amazing 1969 season. The Bo stories are incredible. He then spent 43 years in the Michigan Broadcast booth. He also, at the same time, called games for the Detroit Lions for 31 years. His football insight is second to none. But did you know that he is from East Lansing, and from a proud MSU Family? I did not! He has written a new book, Voices of Michigan Stadium. It is available in print and audio.
