After watching a somewhat underwhelming “Great American” solar eclipse we wonder if the universe is trying to tell us something…. — a marked, 2,190 mile long-distance hiking trail in the Eastern United States; from Springer Mountain, Georgia to Mount Katahdin (Ka-Tah-Din), Maine — A steep-sided shield volcano in the Cascade Range of central Oregon. Generally considered a challenging hike. Great for birding, hiking. Best time to visit is June-November — Waste Alleviation and Gelling Bag (WAG) bag is a disposable sanitation kit used to contain and pack out human waste from back country wilderness. — the metal food storage containers in campground specially designed to keep bears out.
