Break the Script

We've always done it that way. If we always do what we've always done, we'll always get what we have always gotten. Breaking the script allows us to find emotion at the moment, and when we find emotion in the event, there is a better chance for that event to be talked about well beyond the time that it takes place. From checklists to routines to the delivery of curriculum, sometimes we blink and wonder where all the time has gone. We don't think about it...we just do it because we always have. Identifying ways to break the script in your leadership and your school will create opportunities to be remembered the way we want to be remembered.
