Welcome to Art Matters my podcast where I talk to artists who actively pursue various art forms across the globe and discuss what pushes them to create. The underlying theme is to understand how our past and our present shapes our artistic worldview. This then dictates how we navigate the art form, how artistry is defined and how we go about practising it. In doing this, I wish to understand my own long standing relationship with music and other art forms I actively practise & follow and uncover my own motivations to make them an integral part of my life. I have always enjoyed the artistic journey and the preparation that it takes to share any creative output and this one is no different. Eventually, I go back realising how art can’t be separated from human existence and is so deep rooted to who we are, what we do and how we do what we do. In a rapidly changing world of AI & sentient bots, art continues to inspire & give hope. Teach us empathy & kindness. Draw us closer to fellow humans & make us realise how powerful this human connection is. For all this and more Art Matters.
