Why Might Tyre Nichols Have Run? Too Many Brothers Know Why
Every 365 Brothers interview includes stories of the variety of experiences Black men have with police. While there are definitely tales of the full range of experiences with law enforcement--positive, negative, funny and otherwise--the pervasiveness of the harms that come with structural bias, racial profiling and excessive force prevail. Perhaps we need to change the language. Excessive force is being roughed up. Why isn't killing a man without trial or sentencing a "lynching by state actors?" Language matters!
