Four years later, they are sitting down to share their stories of healing and growth with you. This father-daughter podcast brings together a retired hedge fund manager and an Integrative Grief Guide. Two vastly different worlds – both bringing with them a commitment to each others’ journeys and a deep desire to inspire you in creating healing in your own life. In this final solo episode of Season 1, I reflect on my friend Tyler’s question, which we accidentally missed out of our previous episode: Season One Wrap Up Q&A in the Garden. In my reflection, I speak to how embracing a big feeling heart is a strength. From this place, I share a vulnerable moment at my family cabin, where discovering a dead bird stirred deep grief – and presence with the ever unfolding invitation to express our hearts more fully, by feeling what’s within them. As you listen along, I invite you to see if there are any feelings that you can release as we transition into a new year. _________ Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Season One Wrap Up Q&A in the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: We want to thank all of you for your presence and support throughout Season One of Heart Gardening, and we’re excited to share this wrap-up with you. In this episode, my Dad, Robert, and I close out Season One of Heart Gardening by reflecting on the journey we've taken, one intentional conversation at a time. While we have our usual opening and intro with a funny story from my Dad’s childhood, we spend most of our time answering listener questions. Questions touch on topics ranging from humor and vulnerability to what we’ve learned about conflict resolution, and ultimately, how we’re consciously choosing to continue rebuilding our father-daughter relationship – yes, you guessed it, one intentional conversation at a time. If you’ve been listening along, you have probably come to see and understand that this has been less of a season about “How to Heal,” and more about showing how healing happens through heart centered, intentional conversations. Maybe we’ll go more into the “How to Heal” or “How We are Healing” in the future. We hope that what is shared in this wrap-up episode is supportive for you and the loved one(s) you want to continue co-creating in healing with. From our heart gardens to yours, thank you for being on this journey with us. Crossing a Threshold of Fear
Have you ever felt called to return to a place that has long held memories of grief, trauma, or loss, without fully knowing what would come from the visit? In this bonus episode, I share what it was like to return to the hotel where my brother, Rory, died 16 years ago. At the beginning of my share, I talk about the many times I thought about going back, and how, upon learning about a wellness and spirituality event happening there this past weekend, I knew it was time. It wasn’t an easy visit – nothing went quite as planned, but it turned into something more healing than I could have ever anticipated. This episode invites you to reflect upon if there is a place that you are being called to return to – whether a location or memory – so that you can become more present with the power of your heart. __________ Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Divorce in the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: What if divorce can lead to healing through supporting a deeper connection with oneself? In this episode, my Dad, Robert, and I have an intentional conversation about breakups, separation, and divorce – and, specifically, what he learned through his divorce journey which began in the Fall of 2019. We also, and perhaps most importantly, discuss what it means to take responsibility for your part, forgive yourself, and – how the end of a relationship doesn't have to be seen as a failure. Sometimes it's the beginning of something much more aligned. Key Takeaways: Divorce is real grief and needs to be met with presence, compassion, and intentional inquiry. Sitting with sadness and grief is how we heal. Taking the time to understand our part i.e. owning why we chose that person, supports us in healing, and in making different choices in the future. Every relationship has its own curriculum, and the teacher-student dynamic is present in each relationship. Resources: The Road Less Traveled by M. Rehab in the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: Is there something about your story that you have long felt a sense of shame or embarrassment around? That’s how I felt about the fact that, at 25, I went to rehab at a place called Sierra Tucson, to receive support around the PTSD and anxiety I was experiencing after the sudden loss of my brother, Rory, to suicide. In today’s conversation my Dad, Robert, and I discuss his key takeaways from his time in rehab, and we do so in hopes that whether or not you’ve been to rehab or treatment, you can learn to love those parts of your story that you have perhaps long felt a sense of shame around. And – to remember that accepting those parts of your story (whatever they may be, all of us have them) is how we more fully embody what it means to love ourselves – and each other. Key Takeaways: Rehab, also referred to as “treatment,” is not just for those suffering from alcoholism or drug addiction. Addiction can be reframed as an opportunity to master emotional regulation. In a similar way, rehab can be reframed as a re-education; an unlearning. Opening ourselves up to receive help and support is a sign of true strength, as this reflects a willingness to grow through the grief, trauma, and loss that we will all face throughout our journeys. Whatever the metaphorical version is of what rehab has been for me in my story, learning to love that part of your story will, in time, give you freedom – and open you up more to the healing available in love. __________ Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Welcoming Spirituality & Faith into the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: Today’s episode is perhaps my favorite conversation yet, as we touch on two of my favorite topics — spirituality and faith. My Dad, Robert, and I talk about his unique journey from being a card carrying atheist into finding a faith of his own. During this conversation, we discuss how spiritual growth is rarely linear, and how my Dad’s faith became real to him. We also speak to the power of simple spiritual practices like prayer, mindful walking, and gratitude – and how choosing to focus on one’s blessings in the here and now can change everything. At the heart of it all is grace. As Ram Dass said, “love everybody and tell the truth,” along with his ever luminous, “we are all just walking each other home.” Key Takeaways: Forgiveness creates more space for love and Miracles. Faith is a journey that is nurtured by our spiritual practices. God’s love is a gift, not something we can earn. _________ Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Track Your Life Retreat Insights in the Garden - Take 1
Healing Conversations with My Father: Have you ever felt called to go on a retreat, perhaps even a retreat in the South African wilderness? If you’ve been listening along, you know that my Dad attended his first retreat in the South African wilderness in the summer of 2019 shortly before, as he speaks to in this episode, his life “blew up.” This episode was recorded after my Dad returned from his second Track Your Life retreat by Boyd Varty, at Londolozi. You’ll hear my Dad share some of the key insights and invitations he received during his time there. While we go on retreat to remember, the real purpose of taking the time and making the investment to go on retreat, especially one of this nature, is to cultivate more presence. Presence with ourselves, and — as Boyd’s retreats directly support, presence with the tracks of one’s life. My dear friend Ksenia, host of the Weaving Your Reality podcast (formerly Ksenia Brief podcast), who was actually married at Londolozi, wanted to ask my Dad some intentional questions upon his return. So, while Ksenia wasn’t physically present with us in the recording studio, she did join this campfire-like conversation by way of the beautiful questions she sent. Thank you, Ksenia! Key Takeaways: Retreats are a great way to become more present within our daily lives. More presence equals more aliveness. Reality is just as real on a retreat as it is sitting at your desk. Purpose doesn’t have to have a big ‘P’. Sometimes we go on a retreat with one intention, and we end up leaving with unexpected insights and clarity. Exploring a Calling with Plant Medicine in the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: Have you ever felt the whispers of a calling? In this episode, I invite my Dad to share about a calling he felt emerging during a recent sacred plant medicine ceremony. We start, as we do in each episode, by pulling power animal cards and spraying flower essences, which then leads to an intentional conversation about the importance of – you guessed it – intentional conversations. In addition to exploring the notion of a calling, my Dad elaborates on what he shared in Episode 7 “Plant Medicine in the Garden,” about how plant medicine has helped him access healing in ways traditional methods hadn’t. We go on to further emphasize how these sacred medicines can support the release of stored emotions and – for some, connecting with a deeper purpose. As we close, I invite listeners to reflect on how you are relating to the word “calling.” Key Takeaways: Regardless of your age, if you are open, a calling can emerge at any point in your life. Sacred plant medicine ceremonies can help us to remember our true essence, and to open us to better understanding more of who we are, and what we are being called to do, create, and become. All of us have a healer and artist essence. Callings grow and transform as we do. _________ Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Welcoming Forgiveness into the Garden

Welcoming Forgiveness into the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: What if forgiveness is generated when we choose to create a Miracle by consciously letting go of the grievance we’ve been holding onto – either towards ourselves or towards another person? Remembering that A Course in Miracles teaches us that we can create a Miracle any time we shift our perspective from fear to love. Join us as we explore how letting go of grievances opens the door to transformation, within ourselves and in our relationships. In this episode, my Dad, Robert, and I have a very vulnerable conversation about forgiveness. I bring up a story from our first trip to South Africa that I had long felt ashamed of. I offer an apology, and we reflect on how humor helps us alchemize lingering grief and shame. We also discuss the choice between holding onto an old, painful story or embracing healing – what Marianne Williamson via A Course in Miracles refers to the choice between, “a Miracle or a grievance.” My Dad shares his deep respect and admiration for Nelson Mandela, specifically his supernatural forgiveness of his white oppressors after he was freed from Robben Island. And we touch on which tattoos my Dad said he would get, were we to, you know, one day end up in a tattoo parlor together. We close with an invitation to reflect on what it means to release the past and create space for a new story. Key Takeaways: Forgiveness is a process that invites courage, intention – and often, consistent action. In order to expand into the healing available in forgiveness, you have to choose, do you want to hold onto that grievance or do you want the Miracle? Humor can support the alchemy of lingering grief. Asking for forgiveness allows us to become clearer channels of love. _________ Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast, where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Reflections on Spring & Forgiveness
What if the one thing holding you back from growth wasn’t outside of you but within you? Spring has arrived in the Northern Hemisphere, and, along with it, the sharing of the second half of our first Heart Gardening season. With this transition is an invitation to soften, to reflect on what we’re ready to release, and to clear space for new growth. In our next episode, we’ll be exploring forgiveness — what it means to truly let go, how its presence (and absence), shapes our relationships, and why it’s a powerful act of healing. Forgiveness, after all, isn’t really about others — it’s about freeing ourselves. This journey between me and my Dad is one that has invited deep forgiveness, and, in turn, a letting go of past hurt, pain, and grief. Whether you’re listening alone or with loved ones, I invite you to pause, breathe, and feel into who or what you are being called to forgive. Meeting the Mystical in the Garden with Chiqui Woolworth

Meeting the Mystical in the Garden with Chiqui Woolworth
Healing Conversations with My Father: In this episode, my Dad and I welcome our first special guest, Chiqui Woolworth, into the heart garden. Chiqui was one of my Mom’s best friends, and has been an incredibly important person in my life since I was a child. She was the first person to really teach me about the mystical, and in so doing, really supported me in developing a relationship with the mystical in everyday life. Looking into the origins of the word “Mystic,” it comes from the Greek word ‘mystikos’, which means "secret, mystic, connected with the mysteries.” At the beginning of the episode, we reference one of the founders of the French surrealist movement, Paul Éluard, with his insight, “There is another world, and it is inside this one.” We start from this place, because we believe this sentiment encompasses the foundation of mystical awareness. Moving into an intentional conversation about the mystical, we then share about how we have each come to develop a relationship with the world inside this one. Key Takeaways: We can all connect to the mystical in our lives. Being open to the mystical in everyday life can awaken us to the infinite connection between souls, especially those souls who are no longer physically present with us. Having an intentional relationship with the mystical, can help us in our grief healing journeys through offering us peace and wonder, in moments of synchronicity. To deepen into a relationship with the mystical, it is important to express gratitude to the Divine, when you have those moments of mystical connection. The more open you are to the mystical, the more you can co-create in Miracles with the Divine. ——— Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Because each episode is its own sort of medicine ceremony and we know we’ve already covered a lot of ground within Season 1, I wanted to take this intentional pause to reflect before we embark on the remaining episodes for this season. Meeting Grief in the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: Have you ever thought about your first memory with grief? Is there a story that you created from that experience that is still playing out now, in terms of how you relate to your grief – or, to your heart? In this episode, my Dad and I have a heartfelt conversation about our earliest memories with grief and loss. (Listen for my Dad’s sweet reflection on Jiminy Cricket!) You’ll hear my Dad speak to the sudden losses of his father and brother and the impact that had on his entire family. We go on to talk about the loss of my Mother and the healing that we both received through the support of our community – especially the Wheaton Academy high school community. Towards the end of the episode, we discuss how we continue to navigate the universal human experience of grief – including the importance of allowing ourselves to feel our emotions, and how crying is indeed healing. Key Takeaways: In light of your first childhood memory of grief, there may be an insight into how you currently relate to grief, based upon the message you received from a family member or caregiver, in response to your feelings. There is healing to be had in having intentional conversations with family members with whom you’ve shared in a loss, because you each had different relationships and experiences with that person. Grief is meant to be welcomed into the garden of your heart, as soil for the evolution of your soul. Don’t ask people who are grieving what you can do for them, just take a loving action on their behalf – whether with a call, organizing a Meal Train, sending flowers, or any other supportive actions. Remember: your consistent presence is the greatest gift to give to someone you love who is grieving. Prioritize remembering birthday anniversaries and death anniversaries of the people (and pets) your family, friends, and loved ones have lost. ----- Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Plant Medicine in the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: How can plant medicine support healing? Plant medicine, through the grace of The Divine, got us here into the heart garden. (Thank you plant medicine!) We keep hearing from listeners that they want to hear about this topic: our initial resistance to plant medicine, how it has supported our healing journeys — both individually and as a father and daughter, and the importance of preparing for your own ceremony and integrating with the invitations you receive. In this episode, we share: Gratitude to the Indigenous keepers of these sacred medicines, and of course to the medicines themselves. The story from my first plant medicine ceremony. The catalyst for my Dad attending his first plant medicine journey. My Dad’s integration invitations. An invitation to you, the listener, who may be curious about how to best support or encourage a loved one, to attend their first plant medicine ceremony. Key Takeaways: In the right set and setting, plant medicine can be a powerful healing modality for personal growth and transformation. Plant medicine can help us meet that which was previously met by fear, with love. (Thank you, Stephen Levine). Listening to and acting upon the invitations received in sacred ceremony space can guide us into deep healing. “Emanate love, not fear.” (Thank you, Ram Dass). Falling Up with Gratitude
Two weeks ago, while editing Episode 6, I was called to come into the recording studio to record and share these reflections with you. To both communicate my gratitude, and to invite you to use The Fall Up Method, as a means of connecting more with your heart, and what is present within it right now. If you listened to our most recent Heart Gardening episode, which inspired this bonus episode, we shared about Marilyn Murray’s Three Little Children. One of the things that I love about practicing presence, with reflection and gratitude, is that these practices give us the opportunity to connect more with our Original Child, especially while moving through grief. Marilyn defines The Original Child as the child who we are created to be. It’s the child that embodies our soul and spirit in their original form, untainted and filled with potential. Whatever is present within your heart gardens today, I hope that these reflections on how I’m relating to The Pause, The Breath, The Feeling, and The Healing inspire you in being more present – and alive – to your big feeling hearts. ---- Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Childhood Messages in the Garden Pt 2
Healing Conversations with My Father: How do we release the childhood messages that no longer serve us? Join us, as my Dad and I explore this question in today's episode of Heart Gardening. Continuing with the belief that all of our stories contain medicine, we open this episode by sharing stories from our childhoods that speak to some of the early messages that we received. My Dad, Robert, goes on to reflect upon his lifelong workaholic tendencies, which stemmed from the childhood messaging he received. He speaks candidly to the fact that moving from being a human doing for most of his life, to being a human being is an ongoing process. As we close out this episode, we discuss renowned psychotherapist Marilyn Murray’s concept of The Three Little Children. The topic of childhood messaging is a big topic, and through exploring how our childhood messages shaped our identities, we are invited to write new, healing stories for ourselves. Key Takeaways: Reflecting on impactful moments from childhood can highlight a message that we may still be living out today. Allowing ourselves to feel deeply and live in alignment with our truth is an important part of reparenting ourselves. Marilyn Murray’s concept of The Three Little Children invites us to identify and connect with the child within us that needs attention, reparenting, and healing. Childhood Messages in the Garden Pt 1
Healing Conversations with My Father: How do the messages that we received in childhood shape our lives? In this episode, my Dad, Robert, courageously reflects on the key messages he received in his childhood, and how those messages informed the path that he has taken for the better part of his life. Specifically, going to an Ivy League school and achieving at a high level in the financial markets. You will hear my Dad share about how his journey of awareness was catalyzed by his time in a recovery focused treatment center in the early 90s. He goes on to share the transformation he is leaning into in his retirement, listening to his heart and following his passions – proving it’s never too late! We close this episode by inviting listeners to reflect on the childhood messages you received, and how you feel they have shaped your life up until this point. We acknowledge that awareness is always the first step in the journey transformation. If you’re waking up to the impact of your childhood messages, congrats and welcome to the club! We hope this new awareness will seed transformation and support you in creating the healing that you desire for yourself and your heart garden. ----- Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Experiment in the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: Are you feeling called to co-create in healing with a family member? But have perhaps been stuck because of longstanding resentment, estrangement, or xyz. Grab your favorite tea and mist yourself with some Lotus Wei flower essences, because you’ve come to the right place. As the shaman I apprenticed often said, “You can have your story or you can have your healing, but you can’t have both.” In today’s episode, my Dad and I reflect upon the stories that we had to let go of, in order to embrace the healing that started in the virtual therapy room, four years ago. Additionally, we speak about how to move from rupture to repair (hint: you have to let go of the old story), and share the practical steps we took to get ourselves into a place of intentional healing as father and daughter. ----- Heart Gardening, a father-daughter podcast where Jasmin and Robert explore the transformative power of open, honest dialogue in healing relationships – especially in families. Honoring My Mom's 25th Rebirthiversary
I was called to come into the recording studio today, on my Mom's 25th rebirthiversary, as I like to call death anniversaries, to intentionally honor this day with each of you who are here with me and my Dad in the heart garden. The intention with this short bonus episode is to honor the milestone of 25 years, by taking a few moments to share what the invitations within The Fall Up Method's framework have brought forward for me. Whatever is present within your heart gardens today, I hope that these reflections on how I’m relating to The Pause, The Breath, The Feeling, and The Healing, in light of this anniversary, inspire you in celebrating your big feeling hearts. Embracing the Unknown of the Garden

Embracing the Unknown of the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: Can a retreat in the African wilderness change the course of your life? Join us as we explore a journey of intentional self-discovery and courage. The release of this episode is another full circle moment. My Dad just went on his second Track Your Life retreat with Master Life Coach, Boyd Varty, at Londolozi Private Game Reserve in South Africa, and this episode is all about his first retreat there. In this conversation, we share the story of how my Dad embraced the unknown on the Track Your Life retreat he attended in 2019. From tracking wildlife to sleeping under the stars with lions nearby, he found himself confronting some deep-seated truths. The awakening came in realizing that it wasn’t too late for him to get on the track of his life. Key Takeaways: Animal tracking can be a powerful metaphor for connecting more fully with yourself. As you evolve, the track of your life will, too. Courage allows us to stay present in the face of the unknown. It’s not too late to get on the track of your life. Entering the Garden

Entering the Garden
Healing Conversations with My Father: Join us as we welcome my beloved Dad, Robert (the self-proclaimed “reluctant podcaster”) into the Heart Garden. We chose Father’s Day weekend to share this episode, as it was on Father’s Day 2020, that the journey to this podcast began. **btw - my Uncle Richard pointed out that I misspoke regarding my Dad and his family of origin. He was one of 7 children – 6 boys and 1 girl. In this Entering the Garden episode, my Dad and I sit down to talk about his life – including a rapid fire Q&A. You’ll get a sense of his unique life journey while we share our altar items – everything from a Build-A-Bear bunny to a Ghostbusters trap, both of which remind him of his late son. Our conversation then moves into the pivotal moment on Father's Day in 2020, when my Dad asked how he could be a better father. This led us to beginning therapy together – thanks to a seed that was planted while we were listening to Boyd Varty’s Track your Life: 40 Days & 40 Nights podcast. We close the episode with the story of my Dad’s first lemonade stand and the unexpected lesson he learned about change – both the literal and the metaphorical. The episode ends with an invitation for you, the listener. You can see photos of our altar items on IG Key Takeaways A simple, heartfelt question can spark profound healing. If we aren’t mindful, “Dragon Skin” (aka resentments, anger, and hurt) can form over our hearts. Sentimental items can serve as powerful symbols of healing, connection and memory, especially on our altars. Changes invites us to let go, in support of growth. Seeding the Garden
Have you ever felt a dream slowly coming to life? Jasmin reflects on the journey of creating the Heart Gardening podcast, a vision that took nearly two years to come to fruition. Jasmin begins by thanking those who supported her vision of Heart Gardening, including most especially her Dad and Ella London, along with dear friends and colleagues. The idea for Heart Gardening came during a session with Abbi Miller, founder of Workwomb, in early 2022. Over almost two years, the vision grew with guidance from beautiful, supportive humans like Gianna Wurzl, who consistently encouraged Jasmin to trust in the Divine unfolding of the creative process. Now, Heart Gardening is here to connect with listeners on a deep level, no matter where they are. Episode Insights: Having a supportive community is an integral part of bringing creative visions to life. Give your ideas the time and space to show you what they want to become.
