In this episode, Susannah talks to about the practical aspects of raising teenagers and what kind of encouragement moms need in these difficult but formative years. We also take a deep dive into mean girls - what to do when our girls experience mean girl behavior and how we see it as an invitation to work on our own story as moms. Hannah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston. She earned her undergraduate degree from Baylor University and grew up in Houston, Texas. As a therapist, Hannah works with individuals facing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, body image, disordered eating, relationship struggles, and life transitions. She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate the formative years of high school, college, and early adulthood. Her therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered, with integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques when appropriate. She is trained in EMDR therapy, Intuitive Eating Counseling, and is a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach.
