Sounds of Home
Have you ever wondered what it means to "feel at home?" In this inaugural episode of 'Sounds of the Sidewalk', we explore the definition of home with JoJo and Earth, two members of the AGT Golden Buzzer choir, (a choir that includes people impacted by homelessness). In this episode, we discover that we are, in fact, 'all just walkin' each other home' (Ram Dass). Thank you for supporting this podcast, Voices of our City, and the powerful voices found on our city's sidewalks. Want to help lift the Voices of this choir? Please rate, review and follow Sounds of the Sidewalk. Join us in-person every Monday @ 11am and sing along during or unique rehearsal open to the public! 2728 Sixth Avenue, San Diego. No singing experience or RSVP required. Today's episode, 'Sounds of Home', was produced by Shairi Engle and Enrique Rivera Sound Design and Editing by Enrique Rivera Mastering by Britton The Voices you heard today were JoJo, Earth, Lorna, Jeff, and Natacha--all members of this choir. JoJo, who you heard in this episode, has a published book of poetry and if you'd like to read JoJo Harris' work, it's available for purchase here: This podcast is supported in part by Conrad Prebys Foundation's Art Bridging Communities initiative.
